Who is Growbaby?

Growbaby provides good quality, new and second-hand, baby clothes and equipment (up to 5 years), completely free of charge, to anyone who needs it, regardless of their income, background, or faith.  We accept baby clothes and equipment from anyone who chooses to donate; we simply ask that potential donors ensure that they are in excellent, clean condition.

Growbaby is open for you to come and choose your clothes and equipment on Wednesdays between 10am and 2pm (last sign in at 1.30pm) at the Hub and Thursdays (termtime only) at Tolworth Recreation Centre between 12 and 2pm.  You don’t have to make an appointment you can simply drop in. We don’t need a referral form for clothes and equipment, everyone is welcome regardless of income, faith or background. You can stay for a cup of tea, biscuit, and lunch too, we would love to get to know you. If you want to donate your clothes and equipment then please see the link on the website to check what we need at the moment and when is best to drop it off to the Hub.

We do much more than give away clothes and equipment. We host antenatal classes for young parents in conjunction with the local health visiting team, run a young parents group called Babes and a course for those parenting children with sensory processing difficulties. For more information on how to access these groups, please contact us via the contact form, email or phone.

At Christmas Growbaby also provides a link between the pupils and staff of Epsom College and various local agencies so that children across Kingston Borough receive a gift at Christmas. In December 2023 we were able to provide over 3000 gifts to children who may not have received much else.
